STRICT RULES AND POLICIES 

Strict Rules and Policies, of WILDERNESS HIKERS' INTERNATIONAL volunteers at the

in the field, please note that all field positions are volunteer work and that there

is no pay for all positions regardless of the positions, we do not fund any positions, but do

accept all donations and dues for the groups as well sales for group activities such as cookie,

popcorn, and other sales for each group’s activities, regardless of the amount of time giving,

there are 21 rules and policies for the nonprofit organization of WILDERNESS HIKERS

INTERNATIONAL of hiking, bush-crafting, and traditional styled scouting, for all ages, starts at

the age of two and goes to eighteen plus for all groups, all field volunteer positions start at the age of

sixteen and goes to the age of eighteen plus for all positions within the field positions as a

volunteer position only,

1. All cell phone and or landline phone lines must be working, if a line is having technical difficulties, then it needs to be

reported to the phone company and noted in the daily office log,

2. All emails must be checked daily at least five to ten times a day or more,

3. All training for safety is required every month two times a month, at the beginning of the

month and at the end of the month, this includes fire drills and natural disaster drills,

4. All notes must be done each day at the beginning and at the end of each day,

5. All activities for the members must be planned out for Fridays for Hiking, Bush-Crafting, and

Traditional Scouting of Wilderness Hikers International, this includes special events,

6. All queries must be noted if any,

7. All volunteers on the field must have a handbook, field book, and a guide

book, of hiking, bush-crafting, and scouting related issues regardless of what organization the

book(s) if from, this also includes how to books and notebooks with pens and pencils as well

sign off books for each activity and advancements,


8. All Volunteers must dress accordingly while volunteering with a group while Hiking,

Bush-Crafting, Camping, Guiding and Scouting in Traditional Styled Scouting, this also includes all scouting members, Black, Tan, Blue, Camouflage, or Green Pants or Shorts

with Belt that is WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL approved and or Green or Brown

Socks, Garters on each sock(s) while wearing Uniform socks with Shorts, Long Sleeve or Short

Sleeve Uniform Shirts with Epaulets on Shoulders with name of the organization over the right

hand pocket, no matter the color of the shirt, Group Crest and Group Numeral and name of the

group patch on the right upper sleeve, Scout Flir de li membership badge of the organization

that is ideally for WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL over on the right-hand pocket of the

shirt, and the left-hand pocket left alone/blank for advancement patches and badges, Shoulder

knot for the Uniform on the right sleeve of the uniform after receiving an advancement or award,

Yellow and Green shoulder knot, or Red, Yellow, and Green, or white and Red, shoulder knot,

depending on the advancement, T-Shirt that says WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL on

it and with the WILDERNESS HIKERS' INTERNATIONAL logo on the shirt underneath the

Uniform Shirt, (Optional), Ball Cap that is WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL approved,

Campaign Styled Hat or a Green or Maroon Beret Hat, Hat pin on the uniform hat of

WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL, Scouting Neckerchief or an Optional Scouting Necker

string, Neckerchief Slide or Woggle or a Necker string Slide or Neck String Woggle, Sash

(Optional for the Uniform) and or an Optional WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL approved

Jacket or Vest for the Group Uniform within the Field,

9. All Group volunteers must have a Hiking Staff at all times while at camp or at special events

such as Festivals or in Parades,

10. All Volunteer Member staff must have a Cellular Phone Device, regardless of the

type of Cellular Phone to make and or receive Emergency Calls and Calls to other groups within

the field or calls to the WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL office if needed, as well to make

and or receive calls to the Parents if needed,

11. All group volunteer members staff must have a valid email address regardless of

the email server, to send notes, to write down a list of what the group did for activities, future

activity list, or to send reports to and from other groups, parents, and or to the office staff of

WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL,

12. All volunteers within the fields must leave the places that they are at in the

order of how the place was founded, this means leaving the place clean, spotless, picked up, no

trash laying around, all recycling in the recycling cans, neat, and tidied up when the day is done

at the end of the day each and every single evening, after the day is done regardless of the time

served

13. There is absolutely no Alcoholic Beverages or Illegal Drugs

allowed in the office or in the fields,

14. All volunteers in the fields of each group must do a thorough background

check once a year regardless of if at the age or over the age of eighteen regardless, for the safety

of the Youth, and all of the other members of WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL,

regardless of the time served,

15. All members who are eighteen and up who wants to do some hiking, bush-crafting, and

traditional scouting as a member other besides being a volunteer must register as a (Raptures)

Age 18 TO 21 (Eagles) (Group) AGE 18 AND UP (Kings Warrior) or (Crew) Age 18 and UP

(Rovers) or any other 18 and up groups, regardless of the adult age, this includes parents who would like

to join as members, regardless,

16.There is absolutely no Weapons allowed within the office or in the fields such as handguns,

hand grenades, or Weaponed Knives, all Guns and knives must be approved as Shotguns and

Rifles for Skeet Shooting and Target Shooting activities and BB Guns must also be approved for

Target Shooting, all knives must be approved by WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL,

and must be a knife that folds or fixed and only be used for carving and whittling, as well

cooking at activities such as banquets, special events, and camps, all Archery items must also

be approved by WILDERNESS HIKERS INTERNATIONAL and must be used only for archery

target games such as at Camp or at other activities regardless of the event(s) and time served

in those events,

17. All Volunteers both in office and on the fields must have a two-way radio and must be turned

on while volunteering, and must have a full battery at the start of the volunteering shift until the

end of the volunteering shift regardless, for any form of necessarily use of communications that

is needed to and from others nearby from the other party,

18.All volunteers must have a weather alert NOAA issued Radio for weather and other

emergency broadcasting alerts and must be on at all times and must have full battery life with

extra batteries for incase batteries dies out, and must only be used for an emergency,

19. All volunteers must have all kinds of emergency equipment both in office and on the field

including flare sticks, semaphore items, and or flare guns, etc., and must practice once a month

on the proper use of the equipment,

20. All volunteers both in the office and on the fields must do a temperature check at the

beginning of each volunteer shift, due to COVID-19, CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 issues

and must have a COVID test once a month, for health and safety and must report it in the log

each time, and must have a TB test as well, for health and safety reasons, and must past a

physical or other exams with their Primary Care Physician Doctors and must fill out a Waiver

form regardless, if the volunteer has COVID-19 than the volunteer has to Isolate themselves

and not volunteer until the COVID-19 is cleared up, as a health and safety precaution,

21. Lastly, All volunteers on the fields rather with a group as a leader, as a

scout of eighteen and up ages, or as parent must sign in and out and on the logbook at the

beginning and at the end of each day all volunteers also must punch in and out of

the beginning and at the end of each day that time is served

on the fields of each group regardless of time served,

If any of these rules and policies are not followed, termination of position will be taken action

and permanent removal of membership,
